Initial Meeting
We were contracted to design and develop their event planning website. We organised an initial meeting where we discussed
their needs and expectations. They wanted a simple website that incorporates business events and networking. They also
wanted users to have the capacity to register and become members.
The website had to include all the networking events they had undergone or were currently organising so that their prospective
clients can become aware of the sort of events they do and make an immediate decision as to whether it is appropriate for
them. We made sure the website was not too cluttered with information as we didn’t want it to be overwhelming for visitors. We strived
to give the website a professional and accessible feel.

Creating the Initial Design and Mock-up
Armed with the information from the meeting and the plan we devised, we started designing the website with the user interface as our top priority. The design itself was designed with some of the latest web trends in mind.
We laid out the information in such a way that users would be able to easily navigate to a particular area of the website and not have to search aimlessly. The home page would contain a lot of information as it has the main Call To Action (CTA) which is to encourage visitors to register for events.

Giving Life to the Design
The website was developed using HTML5, CSS3, JS, Jquery, PHP5 and moved to a Content Management System (CMS). The client will be able to edit the content easily from here and will not need any prior web design knowledge as it is simple to use.
This will give Bella Networking the freedom to add or remove content as they wish. Since they are a networking company, they
will want to update their website often so they keep their clients and prospective clients informed about their events and to
remove any outdated content or put up promotions and offers when they want to.

Testing and Debugging the Website
The website was tested and debugged on a wide range of browsers. This stage is very important as it allows us to ensure the website is user friendly and will not function incorrectly on any platforms.
We also made sure that the website is mobile friendly because some of their clients might access the website from these devices. We do not want the business to be at a disadvantage because the website did not render properly on someone’s device.
After establishing that the website was at its best, we sent it off to the client for approval.
